OUR STORY
Founded in 2003.
Re-established in 2023.
What started out as an idea in 2003 has blossomed into a movement. After realizing that Christmas in our communities were no longer based on Christ, but was based on Santa. I scratched my head and wondered why. When watching a local Christmas parade, I soon became apparent. Christmas has been hijacked because he body of Christ is not united. In this parade of ten's of thousands of spectators, there were Santa floats, Reindeer floats, Grinch floats and even snowman floats.... but what was missing in the parade named after our saviors birth was Christ. I was beside myself. How could this be? Although many Church's have attempted a parade float, none have continued. So I thought, it's time to bring the Church's together and utilize the full body of Christ in this effort. No longer will there be no Christ in Christmas....we are bringing Christ back to Christmas. It is all of our responsibility to proclaim the name of Christ to our local community. We are not only proclaiming the name of Christ in his parades, but providing an online guide where the public can find "Christ Centered" Christmas events locally. We are not only proclaiming the name of Christ, but bringing people back to Church for Christmas....to hopefully have them return. We have an advantage....there is no body of Santa sustaining them.....we have a body of Christ and it's time to come together.
The idea is simple: Unite the body of Christ to proclaim the name of the Lord in all community events.

How to help....
Purchase a slice of the largest fudge candycane in the world....
At over 1,000 lbs... our fudge candy cane is the largest in the world. When you purchase a slice of history, it allows us to proclaim the name of Christ to over 100,000 of our local neighbors this year. It's amazing what the body of Christ can do when we unite...so please take home a delicious slice of heaven...and enjoy it knowing that it is doing so much good.... A true win/win.

The Bible Zoo runs on a handful of hands family, faithful volunteers, and a guardian who never clocks out.

Why we're different
Biblical animals only.
There are plenty of petting zoo"s. As far as we know, The Bible Zoo is one of the only animal ministries in the country built entirely around Scripture...every animal here earns its place by appearing in a specific Bible story or verse.

The camels carried gifts to a King. The donkey carried Him into Jerusalem. The lamb belongs to the Shepherd of Psalm 23; the pigs come from the parable of the prodigal son; the hen gathers her chicks in Matthew 23; the dove brought word that the flood was over. Nothing on this farm is decoration.
